Christina Ackley

About the Instructor:

Christina Ackley a dancer with over 25 years of experience received her BFA in dance teaching in 2003 and her MFA in dance in 2006. She has studied all genres of dance including ballet, modern, pointe, choreography, character Graham technique, and belly dance. Founder and director of Bellybeat Dance Company, (a troupe that performs belly dance works for the concert stage) she choreographed, directed, and performed in 4 major productions with her company. She also performed as a professional Middle Eastern dance artist in clubs/restaurants in and around Boston for several years. Also a seasoned Pilates instructor,

Christina blends all of the above when teaching her classes creating a fun, engaging, and structured environment paired with upbeat music, amazing combinations and choreography that will have you swaying your hips from side to side as you leave the gym!
