Membership Sales Representative

 

COMPENSATION: Negotiated and determined by the President.

 

SCHEDULE:
This position requires a flexible schedule; you must be willing to work evenings during the week and days during the weekend. Schedule is to be determined with the President

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Membership Sales Representative is responsible for providing immediate, efficient, and friendly customer service in person and over the phone. As a Membership Rep. you are responsible for the promotion of a friendly and professional center image; Knowledge of all operations of the facility; Responsibility for the entire center operation; resolution of any customer complaints, questions, or needs. As Membership Rep. you also assume the position of Manager-On-Duty (MOD).

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in the sales, marketing, and service industry or customer service relations is preferred. Requires effective communication, interpersonal, coordination, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. CPR and First Aid Certification Required.

Personal Trainer

 

COMPENSATION: The actual amount of your compensation will be negotiated & determined by the Fitness Director.

 

SCHEDULE: Schedule is to be determined with Fitness Director

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Personal Trainers are responsible for developing safe, structured, motivational programs designed to meet the personal training client’s goals and needs. The Personal Trainer will provide a multidimensional approach to fitness training and counseling by both identifying specifics of client motivation as well as issues of client responsibilities. The Trainer will build a personal training client base that contributes to departmental revenues by conducting new personal training client appointments, maintaining an existing client base, marketing the program and services, and utilizing the highest quality of customer service. May provide fitness and nutrition education services as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Trainer must be CPR and First Aid certified. Current certification through a nationally recognized affiliation (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, etc…) is required. Previous fitness coaching and/or personal training experience is also preferred. Requires effective communication, coaching, and training skills.

Lifeguard

 

COMPENSATION: The actual amount of your compensation will be negotiated & determined by the President and/or Program Director

 

SCHEDULE: Position requires a flexible work schedule. Schedule is to be determined with the head lifeguard.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Lifeguard will ensure pool safety for members/participant pool users during scheduled pool hours. This position assists members/ participants with pool and aquatics program information, as necessary. The key responsibility for this position is pool safety and maintenance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Lifeguard must have a Professional Lifeguard certification issued by the American Red Cross or the YMCA. Current CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification is also required.

Group Exercise Instructor

 

COMPENSATION: The actual amount of your compensation will be negotiated & determined by the Service Supervisor, Fitness Director, and/or the President.

 

SCHEDULE: Position requires a flexible work schedule, some evenings and weekends.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Position instructs group exercise classes including, but not limited to: High/Low Aerobics, Step, Cardio Kick Boxing, Indoor Cycling, Muscle Conditioning, Interval, Circuit, Stability Ball, Yoga, Pilates. Promotes fitness and wellness through a positive attitude, following class and company guidelines and exceeding service goals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate must have current AFAA, ACE,ACSM or its equivalent national group exercise/ aerobic certification. Current CPR certification is necessary. Previous class instruction experience and a passion for fitness and wellness are required. This position must also complete and maintain required number of training hours to ensure high quality level of instruction.

Front Desk Attendant

SCHEDULE: Position requires a flexible work schedule, some evenings and weekends.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Front Desk Attendant is the center for customer service, fitness & wellness programs and services information. The Front Desk Attendant provides immediate, efficient, and friendly customer service in person or over the phone. This position is also responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of the reception, member lounge, and various other areas. The Front Desk Attendant is essential to the promotion and information sharing of all club programs and services.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate has previous experience in the service industry or customer service relations. This position requires the candidate to demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, coordination of multiple activities, and conflict resolution.

Child Care Provider

SCHEDULE: Position requires a flexible work schedule, some evenings and weekends.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:


The child care provider is responsible for the following child care services, activities, and responsibilities:

 

  1. Provides a safe, well-maintained, and fun environment for children while the member utilizes club services and programs.

  2. Maintains general maintenance and cleaning of the Youth Activity Center.

  3. Supervises, plays and facilitates activities and events with children, and

  4. Assists with various Youth Activity Center programs, services, and activities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have knowledge of childcare nurturing and practical experience with children. Ability to communicate effectively with parents and guardian is necessary.
