Welcome to March MATness
March MATness is a celebration of Joseph Pilates mat work inspired by his home workout book, Return To Life.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.
The March MATness concept was originally created by Benjamin Degenhardt, owner of 360 Pilates™, in an effort to invite everyone to learn about and experience the Pilates method on a daily basis. Each day we will focus on one exercise in his original order. We invite you to attend our Pilates mat classes, which are part of our regular Group Exercise schedule, and to additionally explore Joseph Pilates amazing work utilizing an apparatus called the Reformer. If you’ve never tried the Reformer, we highly encourage you to come for a free demo class offered Thursday, March 9th at 5:30pm and Sunday March 19th at 9:30am, in the Soul Movement studio. So whether you are a regular practitioner, or have never done Pilates before, we hope you will be inspired to let Pilates move you!
