Electrical Project - 2016
September 18, 2016 - 4:30 am
The Club will REOPEN at 5:00 am on Monday, September 18th
A Regular Class and Program Schedule
September 6, 2016
Recently we learned that we could have a possible issue with the club’s electrical main and it would need to be replaced at some point. The club’s electrician’s professional opinion was that the main could be good for many more years, but if we experienced any issues then we would be shut down for weeks for the main to be built and for the project to be coordinated between the city, national grid, and other contractors.
We have chosen to take a pro-active approach to this potential issue and replace the electrical main this month. The club will be CLOSED the following days to complete this project:
Friday, September 16th, Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th
Members will have FULL ACCESS to BAC Express, located at 600 Cummings Center during this project and we expect to reopen the club on Monday, September 19th at 5:00 am with a regular operational schedule. Members can check for project updates at: beverlyathletic.com/project and we will also send an email out Sunday afternoon on the status of the project. The club’s electrician doesn’t anticipate any problems with the scope of the project, but we do strongly encourage members to check the club website and their inbox for project updates to see if Monday’s opening schedule will be impacted. Members should check with their trainer if they train during these days. All other services such as Swim Lessons, Salon & Spa services, Physical Therapy, and Soul Movement Pilates will be closed over this three-day time frame. We will be offering a special Virtual Group Fitness schedule at the Express. You can review that schedule on the club’s website or the club’s APP.
On behalf of the entire management team at BAC, I would like to personally thank you for your understanding. Over the last 15 years, we have done everything possible to build a fitter club with a wide range of fitness and wellness opportunities for all ages and we are committed to moving forward in this direction for you our members and the greater Beverly community.
