Soul Movement offers Restorative Pilates with Angela Marciano McCarthy, a Physical Therapist and Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor. As a graduate of Northeastern University with 20 years of orthopedic experience, she is able to guide you after rehabilitation for surgery, trauma, pregnancy, diastasis recti, and chronic pain.
Pilates is a system of exercises which uses resistance to facilitate normal movement patterns. The focus on whole body movements retrains and enhances control, coordination, precision, and balanced muscle development of the body as a functional unit. The emphasis is an optimal form with full body awareness. You will be able to take what you learn and apply it to work and recreational activities resulting in greater ease of movement and optimally, help you to a state of fitness where you are fitter and stronger than before .
Private sessions with Angela are 55 minutes of one-on-one training tailored to your personal goals, with a home program designed to complement your training. Pilates can be practiced for a lifetime and you will continue to gain strength, flexibility, muscle balance and function.
