Inclement Weather Policy at Beverly Athletic Club
Monday, February 12, 2024 – updated: 2/12/22 – 6:15 pm – Due to the impending storm, the main club could close during the day. We strongly encourage members to call the club before heading in for a workout (BAC EXPRESS WILL BE OPEN)
- All morning Group Ex classes are canceled
- The pool will CLOSED all day (because of wind gusts) even if the club is Open
- The Youth Activity Center will be CLOSED
- Soul Physical Therapy (Danvers & Beverly) will be closed for the Day.
- Gold Cosat Pilates – is CLOSED for the day
Members have access to BAC Express, located at 600 Cummings Center (BAC Express is an 18-plus facility). We will continue to assess as the storm continues and will provide updates on Facebook and our website
BAC Express Club located at 600 Cummings Center will also be OPEN for all members. Please note special parking at Cummings Center, during inclement weather.

In the event of inclement weather during the winter months, the award-winning Beverly Athletic Club makes every effort to open with a normal operating schedule. However, the safety of our staff, members, program participants, and community members is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we may close our main facility located at 7 Reservoir Road either early or for the day which could result in class or program cancellations. Please check our Facebook pages and call the club 978-927-0920 for the most updated information.
If public schools are cancelled in Beverly the following may occur.
- All morning classes and fee-based programs are cancelled
- The club’s Youth Activity Center (YAC) is closed (morning hours, day of storm) Please view the club’s website for any change in the evening hours.
- If you have a training session with a trainer, we strongly encourage you to communicate with your trainer.
- If the club is closed all members have full access to the BAC Express Club located at 600 Cummings Center. Please note special snow parking during inclement weather.
- If the club has a delayed opening because of inclement weather, its possible the all classes and fee-based programs could be cancelled. We strongly suggest that you check the club’s website or facebook for updates
- PLEASE NOTE: If the Beverly Schools are closed due to side effects from a storm, we will remain open (example snow on roof).
